Every plan starts on Free with a self-serve key from the dashboard, no card required. Adding, removing or editing origins is self-serve too. Moving between plans isn't automated yet: the dashboard's upgrade button sends us an email, and a person makes the change by hand. Enterprise pricing works the same way: email us using the contact link above.
Overage
Starter and Pro don't cut your integration off at the cap. Requests past quota keep being served, and the excess is tracked at a flat per-unit rate, shown as an estimate in your dashboard. There's no automatic billing yet, so nothing is charged unless we invoice you by hand:
Cached renders are never billed as overage. Every served render counts toward your monthly quota, cached or not. Once you're past quota, only a render that actually cost compute is ever charged: a fresh render, not a cache hit and not a request that joined one already in flight. See Limits & SLA for the full explanation.
Frequently asked
Is billing live yet?
Not yet. Signing up for a key never asks for a card. Usage past your quota is tracked and shown as an estimate in your dashboard, and moving to a paid plan or settling an overage balance happens by email until self-serve billing is wired up.
What counts as an embed load?
One served request to GET /embed: one iframe mount, regardless of how many times the
visitor rotates or interacts with it afterward.
What counts as a render?
One served request to GET /api/still. See
Limits & SLA for how caching interacts with quota and
billing.
Can I remove the wordmark on Free or Starter?
No. It's the attribution the Free and Starter tiers are provided in exchange for. It's removable starting on Pro, enforced by your key's plan rather than by a query parameter, so it can't be worked around by omitting a setting.
What happens to my key if I'm inactive on Free?
Nothing. There's no expiry. You're only ever throttled by the monthly quota, never deactivated for inactivity.
Is there a setup fee or contract?
No setup fee and no contract. Starter and Pro are month-to-month plans. To move to one, cancel, or switch plans today, use the upgrade link in the dashboard: it opens an email to us, since self-serve billing isn't live yet.
